John and Kris Stichman - 90 FACES OF UNITED WAY

“Involvement with UWNCNM has helped us to support some very important community needs, some directly through UWNCNM programs and many by immersing us in a community of both donors and agencies.”
John and Kris Stichman
Alexis de Tocqueville Society Members

John and Kris Stichman have lived, worked and volunteered in Albuquerque since 1972; they have contributed to United Way for over 50 years and have been Alexis de Tocqueville Society members for about 25 years. They have been Campaign Co-Chairs for the AdT Society and have served on several committees. John has also served on the UWNCNM Board.

Their involvement has helped them be better informed about community needs, they said, and how best to address them. UWNCNM has also been a major aid for donors who wish to consolidate their giving to various agencies through UWNCNM’s designated-giving opportunities, they shared.

For the next 90 years, John and Kris believe that UWNCNM should continue to emphasize programs that can be expected to have the most significant positive impact on community needs. “Involvement with UWNCNM has helped us to support some very important community needs, some directly through UWNCNM programs and many by immersing us in a community of both donors and agencies.”
