Since 1996, United Way of North Central New Mexico Tocqueville Society members have been at the forefront of improving the lives of countless individuals and families through extraordinary financial gifts, volunteerism, and advocacy.
For many, being a member is not so much about writing a check, rather it is an opportunity to have a more influential – even hands-on – role in solving the challenges facing families and our neighborhoods to create a better future.
United Way of North Central New Mexico’s Tocqueville Society members join a national network of more than 20,000 philanthropic leaders in a movement that is committed to creating opportunities for everyone in our region. Locally, our 316 members made an average annual gift of $19,500.

Overall, UWNCNM’s Toqueville Society has invested over $6.17 Million in the past year. These gifts account more than 40 percent of United Way’s annual campaign. Of this, $1.98 million was directly given to support the work of UWNCNM, providing a strong foundation for families and children.
