Volunteers needed!

Certified volunteers make it easy and safe for anyone using Tax Help New Mexico to file their taxes for free. Tax Help will guide and train all volunteers to become IRS-qualified tax preparers. All training and training materials provided free of charge. There are multiple locations available throughout New Mexico. In Santa Fe, volunteers can support two new locations.

CNM students who qualify to serve as volunteer tax preparers can gain valuable work experience as well as college credit for their volunteer work while also learning about the value of serving their community. Students will become certified Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax preparers, a designation that many employers look for when hiring.
