Jeanette Brahl - 90 Faces of United Way
Jeanette Brahl is the Special Projects Manager at United Way. She has been with the organization for ten and a half years, starting as the Director of Marketing and later becoming the Chief Marketing Officer. Jeanette loved marketing for United Way and found it rewarding due to the organization’s involvement in various community facets. A significant change Jeanette notes is the growth in staffing focused on delivering community impact. United Way now has a Chief Operations Officer and HR staff, indicating increased organizational capacity.
Jeanette is excited about United Way’s growth in working with partners for community impact. She emphasizes the importance of programs like 211, tax help, family advocacy, and Ride United in directly assisting those in need. Working through the pandemic, Jeanette learned about food insecurity and is passionate about addressing this issue. She finds it heartbreaking to think about neighborhoods where many struggle to put food on the table.
