Impact Investors

United Way of North Central New Mexico creates positive change because of its committed, caring donors

Impact Investors – those who invest $2,500 annually to UWNCNM – are vital to our community. These contributions are combined with others to provide a deeper source of support to enable United Way’s work in our local community.

As an Impact Investor, you can direct your gift to UWNCNM’s impact work generally (to support a range of services and partnership programs) OR to specific parts of our community impact efforts.

  • Rising Together: Support family stability with resources and increase student engagement leading to improved attendance/graduation rates
  • Community Investment Fund (CIF): Grants to partner agencies for Impact, Basic Needs and Capacity Building
  • Direct Services: 211 Helpline, Family Advocacy Center, Tax Help NM, and Ride United
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Supporting equitable grantmaking practices through education and community engagement
  • Donor Groups: Women United, Hispano Philanthropic Society, Young Leaders Society, Guys Give, and Retire United

As we celebrate our 90th anniversary we invite you to participate in creating the foundation of our next 90 years. We’re hoping for 90 new donors to give $90 a paycheck or $2,160 a year! This is a special opportunity for donors to get involved, be recognized at the level of our Impact Investors, and make a huge difference in our community. (In future years, the giving level would resume at $2,500.)

As an Impact Investor you’ll be recognized in our Annual Report. Plus, you’ll be invited to regular gatherings and events, including opportunities to learn more about our communities’ needs and United Way of North Central New Mexico’s response. A special event honoring Impact Investors will be held in May of 2025.
