On Thursday, May 8th, Women United hosted their Drinks and Dialogue Happy Hour at Juno Brewery with special guests from Susan’s Legacy. It was an inspiring evening full of learning, laughter, and new connections!

For the last three years, Susan’s Legacy has been the recipient of a Women United grant and we celebrate the important work they do to provide no-cost, intensive support for women dually diagnosed with mental health and substance use disorders. At our happy hour, Susan’s Legacy executive director Kathy Weil and board chair, Anne Rose shared with the group about how their work saves lives and helps women thrive.

Women United members were invited to bring donations of soap and shampoo for Susan’s Legacy clients, and they really showed up! Kathryn was thrilled to leave with a trunk full of donations to support the women they serve.
