ADULTS IN EDUCATION
The adults in education work of Rising Together is focused on increasing educational opportunities for adults in north central New Mexico, ranging from literacy to navigating college and career pathways.
The Supercharging the Ed Ecosystem work includes:
- The Strategic College and Career Pathways Barrier Removal Working Group – initial focus on removing the college-going obstacle of bursar and cashier holds.
- Working closely with the Adult Education Division of NM Higher Education Department to support family and adult literacy.
- Building capacity for education navigation with the ECHO virtual knowledge-sharing network.
- Business community engagement through education-friendly workplaces.
