Day of Caring is a five-county-wide volunteer event that connects the community with agencies across central and northern New Mexico.
This event brings awareness to several New Mexico nonprofits and with your participation, we can help support their needs during our annual event. Participants will learn about volunteerism and support, ways to donate items and connect with organizations making an impact.
In 2022, we partnered with the Jennifer Riordan Foundation who provided United Way with ample support in our efforts to get our five-county community engaged with the local nonprofits that serve their area. All Bernalillo County volunteers were invited to a kickoff breakfast before service projects began and our other county volunteers received breakfast onsite!
Participants had an opportunity to choose a service project in all the counties we support, including our newest addition Santa Fe County.
